Spearheading the growth of The Fabindia Schools Programme, by demonstrating excellence in school operations, involving the community and helping the rural youth live their dreams.

Indian Plumbing Skills Council, 2012 to 2013

The first CEO Designate helped set up the sector skill council in association with the National Skills Development Corporation.

National Director, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, 2009-12

Three decades of volunteering and three years as National Director. The International Award for Young People Secretariat in India was set up Sandeep in 2010, and he transformed the near fifty years old Programme to a much-desired youth development program in India. The use of cloud computing, volunteer management and successful partnering with schools helped create the sustainable development model for IAYP India.

Established in 1986, EBD in association with Learning Forward India provides high-impact consulting services for partners with the tools to transform professional learning, increase educator capacity, and improve student achievement. We work very closely with our partner schools and assist in the Monitoring and Evaluation of the school improvement process.

Partner, The English Book Depot, 1983 to Present
A family-owned business established in 1923 is one of the leading retail bookshops in India. EBD was the first bookstore to host a Barista coffee bar in India. The brick and mortar bookstore has leveraged social media and had customers all over the world. What started as a mail order service business is today a very efficient retail store. Book Cafe, the flex format store concept, was introduced in India by Sandeep. In 2009, there were over 60 stores, spread across 18 states in India. The bookshops served customers at hospitals, hotels, cafes, malls and other places of high footfall. The Book CafĂ© brand was built in just 36 months, the company trained near 200 young people as retail staff.
